During my time at CHEF iQ, I had the opportunity to design a logo as requested from my UX Manager.
I ended up adding in "UI" as my manager wanted to include my title with the UX Team. Once it was added, we had to choose between "/" or "+" to distinguish the two. The "/" ended up winning overall.
In the end, our UX Team remote team finally got to meet in person at the company summit and were given our own matching water containers from our UX Manager.
